Rapper Badshah admitted to spend Rs 72 lac for fake views on his song ‘Pagal Hai’

Last month, an international racket was revealed to the Mumbai Police which makes fake views, likes, and followers on social media by taking money. Rapper Badshah was interrogated after the case was opened and now he has admitted that he had spent Rs 72 lakh for fake views. These views were purchased for Badshah’s famous song ‘Pagal Hai‘ to be included in the world record. Last year, Badshah also claimed that his songs had reached 75 million views within 24 hours. However, their claims were rejected by Google and YouTube’s proprietary company Alphabet.

Bollywood rapper-singer Badshah was accused of buying fake views on social media recently. In this connection, the Mumbai police questioned him on Friday. The police’s question-answer session lasted for about nine hours. During interrogation, Badshah denied the allegations of buying fake views.

In the statement, the king denied all the allegations against him. He said- ‘I spoke to the Mumbai Police. I have given them full support on my behalf. I have denied all the allegations against me and have made it clear that I was never involved in such work. I have full faith in the authority investigating the matter. I want to say thanks to those who expressed concern for me. It means a lot to me.’

Last month, the Mumbai Police revealed a case that violated the Information Technology Act provisions. In this, some companies of celebrities and Bollywood biggies were buying fake followers on Instagram, Twitter, and other social media platforms. At the time of the investigation, Badshah also appeared in the list of celebs who submitted these fake followers, after which he was sent a summon.

Badshah is known for his rapping style. He has given his voice in many songs such as Pagal Hai, DJ Wale Babu, Genda Phool, Taarifan, Abhi to Party Shuru hui hai, Selfie Le Le Rey, Kar Gayi Chul and so on. He has also worked with Sonakshi Sinha in the film Khandani Shafakhana.
