Corona Effect: 51st Edition of the International Film Festival(IFFI) postponed to 16th January in Goa

The first International Film Festival (IFFI) was earlier to be held from 20 to 28 November 2020, but now it will be held from 16 to 24 January 2021.

Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar while giving this information said that the Indian International Film Festival (IFFI) will be held in Goa from 16 to 24 January next year, instead of 20 to 28 November this year.

The Indian International Film Festival (IFFI) will be organized this year both in digital mode and screening in auditoriums due to ovid-19 in Goa. This information was given by a senior officer recently. Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) vice-president Subhash Faladesai had said that in a meeting held last week, IFFI’s steering committee had decided to organize the film festival as part of the standard operating procedure of the central government.
