PM Modi became longest-serving Indian prime minister of non-congress origin

On Thursday 13 Aug 2020 Prime Minister Mr. Naredra Damodar Das Modi becomes the longest-serving Indian PrimeMinister who has no congress origin. Pm Modi at the age of 67 has surpassed BJP’s Mr. Atal Vihari Vajpayee who served for 2268 days as prime minister.

Yesterday PM Modi has become the 4th longest-serving PM in the history of India. Mr. Jawara Lal Nehru retains the status of the longest-serving prime minister. He served for 16 years and 286 days, after that His daughter is the second in the list with the term of 11 years and 59 days. and the Third longest-serving prime minister was the predecessor of  Modi known as Manmohan Singh who served the nation as Prime minster for 10 years and 4 days.

PM Modi has completed his 6 years as successfully as the Indian Prime Minister. BJP’s face, Narendra Modi won his second term with a majority of 303 seats.

He is the first to visit Ram Janmbhoomi and he is also the first prime minister to participate in Bhoomi Poojan of Ram Mandir.

His March 24th address to the nation, where he announced the 21-day complete lockdown to fight the Covid-19 outbreak, also became the most-watched TV event in the history television in India.

Last year in September, the prime minister set a record for 50 million followers on Twitter. He is the most followed Indian on the microblogging site. As on August 13, PM Modi’s Twitter handle has 60.9 million followers while the official Twitter handle of Prime Minister’s Office has 37.9 million followers.
