RRB starts CBT recruitment examination for NTPC from December 15 for 1.4 Lakh posts, details will be released soon

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will start the Computer Based Test (CBT) recruitment exam for non-technical popular category (NTPC), Levan-1, and various posts (CEN 01/2019) from December 15.

Railway Minister Piyush Goyal tweeted a video and said that in this regard RRB will soon release a detailed examination schedule.

In the video, RRB CEO and Chairman VK Yadav announced the exam date and said, ‘There are a total of 140640 vacancies which are being filled under NTPC. The application process was started in 2019 for the Isolated and Ministerial category and Level-1.

Applications were invited from these candidates from 1st to 31st March 2019 for these posts. We have checked the application forms but have not been able to conduct examinations due to coronavirus. The examinations for all three categories will be started after 15 December.

CEN 01/2019 was released on 23 February 2019. There are one lakh posts in RRB Level-1 while 35277 posts will be filled under NTPC. Railways said that earlier there was a plan to conduct examinations in June, which was later postponed until September. But in view of the outbreak of Corona, now these examinations will be conducted in December.
