Construction Work has been started for Patna Metro. This project is involved in one of the dream projects of Bihar CM Nitish Kumar who has passed budget of more than 13 thousand 365 crores on Patna Metro Rail Project. In the project, 20 percent of Bihar, 20 percent of the center, and the remaining 60 percent of Japan International Corporation Agency will also be loaned.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said on Tuesday that the work of Patna Metro will be completed within 5 years. He said that with the introduction of the Patna Metro, the people of the city will get a lot of convenience. Before the assembly elections to be held in Bihar this year, Nitish Kumar inaugurated, laid the foundation stones, and started work in a virtual manner on various schemes worth about Rs 7,700 crore in seven departments.
Patna Metro Rail Corporation Limited has also been formed for fast work on Patna Metro. There will be two metro corridors in Patna. Corridor 1 will have Danapur Khemneechak and Gandhi Maidan Pataliputra bus base in 2.
During this, he said, “Patna Metro Rail Scheme is also being inaugurated. Its foundation was laid by the Prime Minister on 17 February 2019. The construction of Patna Metro Rail is being done by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. The cost of Rs. 13,590 crore With this, the work of its two blocks will be completed within five years.”
