Indore got top position in the list of ‘Swachh Survekshan 2020’ for the 4th time

Surat ranked second and Navi Mumbai third among clean cities of the country. Ministry spokesman Rajiv Jain said on Tuesday that 1.87 crore citizens participated in the survey of 4242 cities, 62 Cantonment Boards, and 92 towns along the river Ganges.

Indore, Bhopal, Ratlam, Dewas, Ujjain, Jabalpur, Sehore, and Burhanpur are the names of Madhya Pradesh in the list of cleanliness survey award ceremony. These districts are likely to get awards in different categories.

The ministry has said that the Clean Survey 2020 campaign has been completed in 28 days. 1.7 crore citizens registered on the cleanliness app. It was viewed more than 11 crore times on social media, more than 5.5 lakh sweepers were linked to social welfare programs and more than 84,000 people engaged in informal garbage picking work were brought into the mainstream.
