Mukesh Ambani is the only Indian to feature in the top 5 in the Global Rich List. Hurun India MD Anas Rehman Junaid said Mukesh Ambani’s assets exceed the total assets of the next five in the list.

After Mukesh Ambani, the London-based Hinduja brothers had a combined net worth of Rs 1,43,700 crore. HCL founder Shiv Nadar finished third with a net worth of Rs 1,41,700 crore. With assets worth Rs 1,40,200 crore, Gautam Adani & Family is at the fourth position and Azim Premji at the fifth position. Hurun India list has the name of the richest person in the country with assets of Rs 1,000 crore or more as of August 31, 2020. The 2020 edition included 828 Indians.
