Drug case: Actor Ranveer Singh requests NCB to be presented at the time of interrogation with Deepika

In such a situation, Deepika's husband and Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has reportedly requested the NCB if he can appear with his wife during questioning in the Bollywood drugs case.

Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has issued a summons to Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, expanding the scope of its investigation into the drug angle related to the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Deepika will be questioned by the NCB team on Saturday. In such a situation, Deepika’s husband and Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has reportedly requested the NCB if he can appear with his wife during questioning in the Bollywood drugs case.

In his application to the NCB, Ranveer has said that Deepika Padukone sometimes suffers from anxiety and gets nervous. Therefore he should be allowed to be with her at the time of probe. Ranveer said that he is a law-abiding citizen and knows that he cannot be present at the time of interrogation of Deepika, but he only wants to be allowed at least inside the NCB office, though on his application, no decision has been taken by the NCB yet.

Deepika got trapped due to her drug chat. The Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB) received a drug chat against Deepika Padukone. This is the drug chat on 28 October 2017. This date is also important to keep in mind because according to sources, in the chat received by NCB, Deepika is asking for drugs named Hashish from her manager Karishma Prakash.
