How they met
For Kinshuk and Drishti it was their parents who played cupid and introduced them to each other. From the word go, they felt an instant connection that soon turned into a conviction that they were meant for each, following which, there was no looking back!

Wedding Planning
The Mumbai based couple decided to host their nuptials in their home city at Saya Grand Club & Spa Resort, most of which they planned themselves with the help of their families. To capture the beautiful moments of their wedding, they entrusted the team of  knotsbyAMP. The bride shares, “I first came across them while researching photographers for my sister’s wedding and was smitten by their style of work and I knew right then that they were the ones I would want to cover my wedding as well. They captured every moment perfectly, bringing out our personalities and happiness in every candid shot.”

Welcome Party
Celebrating Kinshuk’s South Indian heritage in style, a vibrant welcome party kicked off the festivities. Wearing a Mundu with bright shirts and sporting sunglasses, the men were full of swagger, while the women embraced the traditional grace of kanjeevaram sarees, temple jewellery and gajra.

Mehndi

A colorful hi-tea and Mehndi ceremony followed, which was replete with a lively décor of flowers in bright shades of orange and pink. The joyous occasion saw sunlit revelries of music and dance. The groom wore a tonal Bandi jacket ensemble in blush pink which the bride aptly complemented with a fuchsia lehenga.

Sangeet

A tunnel of string lights welcomed everyone to the Bollywood themed Sangeet night. Dressed in a ruffled lavender lehenga and a tuxedo respectively, the bride and groom arrived in style amidst a puff of smoke. Psychedelic lights and groovy music added magic to the night as the couple and their loved ones set fire to the stage with their moves, dancing till the wee hours of the morning.

Pool Party

The following morning started with a pool party for everyone to relax and enjoy after the night’s festivities to get all charged up for the upcoming wedding. The décor showed off soothing tones of pastel yellow, blue and pink which the couple and their guests matched with their ensembles.

The wedding festivities saw décor in a sublime summer color palette full of blooms that lit up the lush greenery of the venue. A stunning blend of white and purple flowers made up the canopy of the mandap, while a verdant foliage backdrop framed the couple’s nuptials. The bride donned the quintessential red, while the groom wore a serene blend of white and blush.

Reception

The festivities came to a stunning conclusion with a reception party in hues of red and gold. Twinkling lights lent to the warm ambience of the occasion that saw hearty celebrations. The bride wore a sleek shimmering pink gown while the groom kept it chic in an ink blue jacket and white chinos.
