DGP Anjani Kumar’s Appreciation Note For Telangana Police

Hyderabad: Even as several hundred of Ganesh idols are lined up for immersion in different parts of the city and more particularly at the Hussain Sagar, DGP Telangana, Anjani Kumar sent out a message in appreciation of the entire police force, including the ancillary units and also the ministerial staff and staff from other departments involved in the immersion process.

“It gives me immense sense of satisfaction and pride that we did it in the most professional way. Do convey my deep appreciation to each and every member of the force, ministerial staff and those from other depts who were closely associated,” the DGP’s message circulated to all the officers read.

While reiterating the challenges involved, he also had a word of praise for the young SPs and all the newly promoted officers. “Such occasions are a testing field of our capacity to do hard work, coordinate and lead from the front. The younger SPs and all newly promoted officers particularly have gained such a great experience which they will improve further over times to come. You have to take the flag of Telangana to greater heights than what the present generations did” he said, also reminding them of their responsibility for the state’s future.

He also mentioned that all DCPs, SDPOs, SHOs and their respective teams have tirelessly did their job and also that the ancillary units like Communication, Technical wing , Intelligence, Special Branches, CI cell , SIB , Task Force , Traffic, women safety, his staff officers and all have contributed very significantly.

” Ganesh is known for removing all obstacles. He is also known for ushering wisdom and prosperity. I pray for each one of you and your family. Felt proud to be your teammate,” Anjani wrote to the police officers.

Meanwhile, the immersion process at Hussain Sagar lake is expected to be completed by evening. Police are expediting the movement of idols towards the immersion points. All roads leading to Hussain Sagar continued to witness slow traffic movement. Further traffic movement was slow in all the main roads connecting the exit points of Hussain Sagar with vehicles leaving the area after immersion.
