Scholarship Schemes – Budget 2023-24

▪️Provision of Rs 2107 crore for scholarships to the students of pre-matric and post-matric classes belonging to backward classes.

▪️Provision of Rs 962 crore for scholarships to scheduled caste students.

▪️Arrangement of Rs 530 crore for providing scholarships to general category students.

▪️Arrangement of Rs 34 crore 50 lakh for scholarships to tribal students.

 Budget 2023-24

Justice

▪️Provision of Rs 700 crore for the construction of court complex on the basis of pilot project in the newly created districts.

▪️A provision of Rs 103 crore for the establishment of National Law University, Prayagraj, included in the top priority of the government.

▪️Provision of Rs.420 crore for the construction of non-residential buildings of district courts of the state.

▪️Provision of Rs.150 crore for the construction of residential buildings for the judges of the Hon’ble High Court.

▪️Arrangement of Rs 6 crore in the financial year 2023-2024 regarding the sale of welfare stamps related to the Uttar Pradesh Advocates Welfare Fund

▪️Arrangement of Rs 20 crore for grant to Uttar Pradesh Advocates Welfare Fund Trustee Committee.

▪️For the convenience of the advocates of the state, provision of Rs 20 crore in the financial year 2023-2024 for the construction work of advocate chambers and development of other infrastructure facilities in various districts.

▪️Arrangement of Rs.100 crore for CCTV cameras and other security equipment for the security of subordinate courts of the state.

 Budget 2023-24

Minority Welfare

▪️Provision for benefiting from scholarship for eligible minority community students studying in Class 9 and 10.

▪️Budgetary provision of Rs.681 lakh for the construction of hostel/school building in the financial year 2023-2024.

▪️Arrangement for imparting education of modern subjects in Madrasas/Maktabs. 

▪️Arrangement for payment of honorarium at the rate of Rs.6000 per month to graduate teachers and Rs.12,000 per month to B.Ed. teachers with masters for teaching modern subjects (Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science etc.) 

▪️Arrangement for grant of Rs. 1 lakh per madrasa for establishment of a computer lab

UP Budget 2023-24: Women and Child Development

  ⬛️ A provision of Rs 1050 crore for the financial year 2023-24 under Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Yojana.

 ▪️A provision of Rs 600 crore for the Chief Minister’s Mass Marriage Scheme.

 ▪️A provision of Rs 150 crore for the marriage grant scheme for the daughters of poor people belonging to other backward classes.

 ▪️A provision of Rs 63 crore in the financial year 2023-24 for Mahila Samarthya Scheme.

 ▪️Proposed a provision of Rs 4032 crore for the year 2023-24 for maintenance and nutrition grant for destitute widows.

 UP Budget 2023-24: Youth

 ▪️A provision of Rs 3600 crore in the budget to provide tablets/smartphones to the eligible students under the Swami Vivekananda Youth Empowerment Scheme.

 ▪️ Arrangement of Rs 100 crore for seed fund to promote incubators.

 ▪️A provision of Rs 60 crore proposed for Uttar Pradesh Information Technology and Startups Policy.

 ▪️A provision of Rs 05 crore for corpus fund to provide financial assistance to young advocates.

 ▪️ In the financial year 2023-24, the target of creating 40 thousand jobs in the textile sector.
