On the first anniversary of the scrapping Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, the separatists threatened to celebrate Black Day. In view of this, the administration has ordered a curfew in Srinagar on August 4 and 5. Considering the atmosphere, tight security has been made everywhere so that no one can spoil the environment anywhere.
Strict action has been ordered against those who break the law. Apart from this, a magistrate will be deployed in every police station area of Srinagar, which will monitor the whole situation. PM Narendra Modi will be going to attend Ram temple Bhoomi Pujan ceremony on 5th August. In view of this, an alert of terrorist attacks has also been issued. After the removal of Article 370, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh were made two Union Territories.
This is to inform you that Article 370 was abrogated from Jammu and Kashmir on August 5 last year, after which there were high possibilities to spoil the atmosphere in Kashmir. In these situations, many separatist leaders were put under house arrest. Many were later abandoned. Now a few days ago, the action was also taken against former CM Mehbooba Mufti because such inputs are being received through agencies that attempts are being made to spoil the atmosphere in Kashmir.
On Monday, a letter was written to DC by the SSP of Srinagar. It said that according to the way information is being received, a plan is being made to celebrate Black Day on August 5. On the part of many separatist leaders and those working on the agenda of Pakistan, this day can be a big ruckus when celebrating Blood Day. This can be an attempt to spoil the atmosphere of Kashmir. Subsequently, DC Shahid Iqbal Choudhary has ordered a curfew in Srinagar on August 4 and 5.
Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti responded as if it was anticipated that along with the imposition of Section 144 in Srinagar to create normalcy on August 5 Additional deployment of troops is underway and the city is lost in a maze of barbed wire, police vans, and barricades.
