There has been speculations for some time now that Saumya is planning to quit the show due to the COVID-19 pandemic but now the actress has confirmed it.

Saumya Tandon, who played a very popular role as Anita aka the Gori Mem in Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain, has left the comedy show. The reports of her quitting ‘Bhabhi Ji’ have been confirmed and she finally revealed in her exclusive chat with BT, “Yes, I have decided to not continue this show further. She told that her5-year journey on “Bhabhi Ji Ghar Pr Hain” has been productive. She shared, “It does not mean that ‘Bhabi Ji…’ did not contribute to my growth, I had a beautiful journey on the show. She further added in her statement, “I will miss the entire team of ‘Bhabi Ji…’, but I have to push myself out of my comfort zone and take new risks in life.”
