Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University premises gleams in the colours of Indian Culture

National Integration Camp was organized at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohelkhand University Bareilly by Regional Directorate of National Service Scheme, Lucknow under the sponsorship of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. In which 210 volunteers and officers from 11 states including Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh participated in the form of Mini India recently. Under the camp, discussions on various topics, cultural programs, staging of food, language etc. of the states and with a view to enhance the personality, various competitions and traditionally cultural programs of the states were staged. The formal inauguration of the camp activities was done by Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University’s Vice Chancellor K.P.Singh’s chief guest, Registrar Dr. Rajeev Kumar, Regional Director Ashok Kumar Shroti, Program Coordinator Sompal Singh, Sports Secretary Alok Srivastava and volunteers from all states in traditional costumes.
On this occasion, the chief guest Vice Chancellor K. P. Singh praised the self-disciplined youth of the National Service Scheme and called upon them that this is the time when the country is leading the world through the G20 important summit, I request the volunteers of the National Service Scheme to lead the youth of the country and make them accept the dream of a self-reliant India. The volunteers created the aura of a beautiful Mini India in the university by displaying the unity in diversity of India through their cultural and other activities. Camp Director Dr. Ashok Shroti and Camp Coordinator Dr. Sompal Singh, Vice Chancellor Prof. Of. Presented a memento of the camp to P. Singh and other guests. After the inaugural session of the camp the program concluded with the states performing in the cultural event titled ‘Sanskriti’.
