More than 2 months have passed since the death of Bollywood star Sushant Singh. During this time, the case of suicide has now turned into an investigation into the possibility of murder and the country’s largest investigative agency CBI has taken up the case. Earlier, there were some claims that he was in mental pressure and people are spreading many posters or pictures related to mental health awareness with Sushant’s picture.

Now Sushant’s family has warned that if anyone uses Sushant’s name or picture in the name of mental health or for any other work, they will take action. Vishal Kirti, who is the brother-in-law of Sushant said on behalf of the family that if anyone tries to get the benefits in the name of Sushant, legal action will be taken.

Vishal Kirti, husband of Sushant’s sister Shweta Kirti Singh, has issued this warning by tweeting. Vishal wrote in his tweet, “Shweta and I do not support any commercial use of Sushant’s name. If anyone is using Sushant’s name, then its purpose should not be to earn profit. The family does not allow the use of Sushant’s name for any beneficial activity.

Vishal warned that if the family feels a sense of defamation by any person or organization, then they will take legal action against them. He also said that Sushant cannot be used as a poster boy for mental health awareness. However, Vishal also wrote that if any person or organization wants to use Sushant’s name for non-profit works, then they have to take written permission from the family.

Sushant Singh Rajput (34) was found hanging from the roof of his apartment in Bandra, Mumbai on 14 June. After this, the Mumbai police were investigating it and recorded statements of 56 people, including Rajput’s sisters, actress Riya Chakraborty.

The Supreme Court, in its judgment on Wednesday, had termed it legal to hand over the FIR lodged in Patna to the CBI for investigation. The apex court had said in its judgment that the Bihar government was able to transfer the case to the CBI for investigation.
