Planned by WeddingSutra Favorites – Morani & Surma, each event at this wedding was a reflection of the couple’s tastes while making the most of the natural beauty that surrounded the venue.

Wedding Venue

A 234-year-old heritage property, Alila Fort Bishangarh is a unique example of Rajasthani architecture that has Mughal and British influences. Equipped with 59 rooms and stunning in-house venues where each celebration can be infused with a unique look – this venue ticked all the boxes for Keya and Arjun. Plus, Jaipur’s many attractions are also located conveniently close, with the legendary Amber Fort only a short drive away.

Planning their wedding were Morani and Soorma who ensured the couple savoured every moment of the festivities. Heavily inspired by the local art, cuisine and aesthetics – the team planned a series of events that gave the guests an apt perspective on what Rajasthan has in store for them. With a guest list of around 120 pax, each event was intimate, minimal and blended seamlessly with the local surroundings.

Wedding Functions

The haldi ceremony embraced a serene palette of delicate whites and deep greens inspired by the Rajasthani landscape that surrounded the venue. The heritage Rajasthani blue pottery influence was also seen in the decor with dainty blue hues interspersed between the rest of the colors. Wearing yellow and white attires, the guests stood out against the backdrop.

Highlighting the raw beauty of the venue itself, the sundowner incorporated burnt orange and rust hues. Hosted on the rooftop, the decor was a reflection of minimalism. As the night progressed, the guests enjoyed a sumptuous Rajasthani spread that gave them an accurate taste of the local delicacies.

The wedding started on an energetic note as the groom arrived in a car with his baraat. As evening fell, the wedding rituals began where Keya walked gracefully down the aisle with her father by her side. The wedding mandap was nothing short of a woodland dream come true with its intertwining branches, delicate foliage and pristine white blooms.

Reception Dinner
The reception dinner was hosted at Baori, a unique in-house venue at Alila Fort Bishangarh that resembles a step well. The sunken area was converted into a dancefloor and a live band performed as well. The venue was carefully adorned, featuring elegant gold and black decorations with pops of green accents, accentuated by the addition of more natural lights in the decoration.
