तिरुवनंतपुरम, 13 दिसंबर। केरल में स्थानीय निकाय चुनाव 2025 की मतगणना शनिवार को शुरू हुई, जिसमें कांग्रेस-नेतृत्व वाले यूनाइटेड डेमोक्रेटिक फ्रंट (UDF) ने अधिकांश नगर निगमों, नगरपालिकाओं और पंचायतों में बढ़त बना ली है। शुरुआती और मध्य रुझानों में UDF का प्रदर्शन सशक्त दिखाई दिया।

राज्य निर्वाचन आयोग के अनुसार, ग्राम पंचायत, ब्लॉक पंचायत, जिला पंचायत, नगरपालिका और नगर निगमों के लिए हुए इन चुनावों में मतदाताओं की भागीदारी उल्लेखनीय रही। दो चरणों में हुए मतदान में बड़ी संख्या में लोगों ने अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग किया।

राजधानी तिरुवनंतपुरम नगर निगम में भाजपा-नेतृत्व वाले एनडीए ने पहली बार स्पष्ट बढ़त दर्ज कर राजनीतिक हलकों को चौंका दिया है। इसे राज्य की शहरी राजनीति में बड़े बदलाव के संकेत के रूप में देखा जा रहा है।

कोच्चि, कोल्लम, थ्रिशूर और कन्नूर जैसे प्रमुख शहरी क्षेत्रों में UDF की स्थिति मजबूत बताई जा रही है, जबकि सत्तारूढ़ लेफ्ट डेमोक्रेटिक फ्रंट (LDF) को कई स्थानों पर नुकसान उठाना पड़ा है।

राजनीतिक विश्लेषकों के अनुसार, स्थानीय निकाय चुनावों के ये परिणाम आगामी 2026 के केरल विधानसभा चुनाव से पहले जनता के रुझान को दर्शाते हैं।

NDRF (National Disaster Response Force) has been deployed to rescue the landslide victims in Idukki’s Rajamala. Police, fire, forest and revenue officials also instructed to escalate rescue operation,” news agency ANI quoted Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan as saying.

KERALA ON RED ALERT
