]]> Supreme Court Justice Arun Mishra is going to retire today. Today is the last day of Justice Arun Mishra in the Supreme Court. According to tradition, today he joined the bench along with Chief Justice SA Bobde. During this, CJI Bobde praised Justice Arun Mishra. It is a privilege to work with Justice Arun Mishra as a colleague. It is strange that this is the first time I am sitting in court with him and this is the last time. He has been a symbol of courage and patience in discharging his duties.

He said that Justice Mishra is the symbol of light, courage, and patience to face all adversities, which he faced bravely in the discharge of duty. I want Justice Mishra to lead a happy and prosperous life ahead and I hope you will keep in touch with us and we will definitely try to do so.

The Chief Justice said, “Even on a personal front, I am aware of the great difficulties that he has faced and despite this, he has fulfilled his duties. I do not know many people who bravely faced the tough circumstances despite so many difficulties CJI Bobde said that Justice Mishra is leaving behind the legacy of courage and hard work.

Attorney General (AG) KK Venugopal gave a short farewell message to Justice Arun Mishra. During this period, before retirement, Attorney General KK Venugopal called him “Iron Judge” of the Supreme Court. He said that Justice Arun Mishra “remained firm and unwavering”.
