Rhea as well as her brother Shouvik Chakraborty are also in jail in the drugs case. The bail pleas of Rhea and Shouvik have been dismissed from the NDPC court.

On Wednesday, his bail petition was to be heard. But due to heavy rain, Bombay High Court was discharged due to which his hearing was also postponed.

Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by the NCB on 8 September. She was then sent to Mumbai’s Byculla Jail for 14 days judicial custody. On 22 September, the period of his judicial custody was coming to an end, but the court extended his judicial custody till 6 October, not giving relief to Rhea. After Rhea’s petition was rejected in the NDPC court, Rhea and Shouvik moved the High Court, where the hearing has been postponed till September 29.

A total of 18 people have been arrested so far in the drug angle arising out of the Sushant case. More big stars are coming in this case. The list includes Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, Namrata Shirodkar. NCB has sent summons to all of them. NCB will interrogate Deepika Padukone on 25 September. At the same time, Deepika has also said in response to the summons of NCB that she will fully help in the investigation.
